Modules Administration

Modules are what PHP-Nuke calls the different sections of the web site. More information is avilable on this in the Modules section. Below is a screen shot of the modules admin screen

From here you can control which module people can see, whether you have to be a registered user or not to access modules and activate / deactivate modules as you want to make available to people.

DO NOT CHANGE THE ACCESS SETTING ON THE YOUR_ACCOUNT MODULE as this will cause it to stop allowing people to register and login

Changing module settings

To Enable / Disable a module, click the Activate / Deactivate link respectively.
To edit the module's access privelages, click the edit link and select the access level from the drop-down box

Hiding an active module

As of Nuke 6.0, it is possible to hide active modules from users of the site. This could be used say if you wanted the journal to be active, or webmail, but only accessible from the Your_Account section of the web site.

Hiding the module is easy. All you have to do is go into the modules administration, click "edit" next to the module name, and then click "no" next to "visible in modules block"
